First Impressions TEam
A warm smile, a firm handshake – these are the experiences that make a church a home. As a member of the First Impressions team you set the tone of a person’s visit by creating a welcoming, friendly, helpful environment. It’s also a great opportunity to make a ton of new friends that you’ll soon call family.
Creative Arts Team
Visual media is an important aspect of a person's experience at Encounter, helping to set the tone and relay the purpose of any event or public interaction we have. The Media Team works each week to gather footage and photos to serve as the foundation for our social media posts, series bumpers, and short films.
Encounter Kids (1st-5th grade)
When you say yes to serving in Encounter Kids, you are agreeing to big messes, discussing who would win in a fight between the Thor and Hulk, and modeling how to have a relationship with Jesus. The kids you serve in this environment will take these lessons with them for the rest of their lives, so we like to say that we are shaping the past of a future generation.
Wee community (Birth-k)
Learning about God’s love starts at birth. When you hold an infant, encourage a toddler, or are silly with a preschooler, you are communicating that God loves them, supports them, and wants to have fun with them. Serving in Wee Community means teaching children that Jesus wants to be their friend forever, and that is the greatest thing any child could ever learn!
praise team
Our team has a passion for leading others so they can encounter God’s presence, and we see it as an honor to be a part of that life-changing experience. Our goal is to represent Jesus with four core values – Love God, Love People, Pursue Excellence, and Choose Joy. We honor the platform we’ve been entrusted with by living Godly lives and knowing the platform is a place for service and not for stardom.
