JOIN ENCOUNTER
A PLACE TO BELONG AND A FAMILY TO BE A PART OF
Everyone wants a place where they belong. We believe people feel they belong when they are actively involved and engaged with the local church. Those who are active and engaged do so because they feel a sense of ownership of the mission and vision of the church.
Our Mission: Love God, love people, and lead them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
Our Vision: To be a church where anybody and everybody can come as they are
WE WANT THOSE WHO CALL ENCOUNTER HOME TO ENGAGE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS
1. ATTEND CONSISTENTLY
You feel like you are a part of what's going on when you are a part of what's going on.
2. INVITE BOLDLY
Invitations can change lives. We pray expectantly knowing that God is at work in the lives of those who are far from Him. We are determined to make this a safe place to invite your family and friends, so you can invite them to place where everybody can come as they are and experience God on their own terms.
3. SERVE HUMBLY
We believe that God has gifted everyone and everyone has a place. We all have a role to play in the body of Christ in order to make the body function as it's supposed to function. We need you!
4. CONNECT RELATIONALLY
We are made to be in relationships. This best happens within our community groups because we believe circles are better than rows. Community groups are a place where we can grow alongside one another and we seek to create environments to help everyone become a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
5. GIVE IRRATIONALLY
Generosity changes lives and giving to the local church, helps the local church, to be effective reaching the local and global community.
